Kratie (February 23, 2026) — H.E. So Khanrithykun, Secretary of State and Chairman of the Steering Committee for the LASED III Project under the Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction, presided over a ceremony on Monday to distribute household supplies to families moving to social land concession (SLC) site in Kbal Damrey commune, Ou Kriengsaenchey district, Kratie province.
A total of 320 landless and land-poor households have been moving to SLC plots in Kbal Damrey commune, granted by the Royal Government through LASED III with support from the World Bank. The start-up support materials each family received from the project included solar lanterns, tents, 1,000-liter water containers, water purifier buckets, mats, mosquito nets, blankets, rice, and basic kitchen supplies.
Speaking at the event, H.E. So Khanrithykun expressed appreciation to all stakeholders, including the beneficiary families, for their active participation in the project. He encouraged the recipients to relocate to their designated plots as soon as possible and begin building their new livelihoods.

The ceremony took place at the social land concession site in Kbal Damrey commune, with attendance from representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, the Deputy Governor of Kratie, related provincial departments in Kratie, and local authorities.
