Stung Treng (October 13, 2025) — H.E. So Khanrithykun, Secretary of State and Chairman of the Steering Committee for the LASED III Project under the Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction, presided over a ceremony on Monday to distribute household supplies to families moving to social land concession (SLC) sites in Samkhuoy and Sre Kor communes, Sesan district, Stung Treng province.

A total of 634 landless and land-poor households have been moving to SLC plots granted by the Royal Government in Samkhuy, Plouk, and Sre Kor communes. The material each family received from the project included solar lanterns, tents, 1,000-liter water containers, water purifier buckets, mats, mosquito nets, blankets, rice, and basic kitchen supplies.

In remarks at the event, H.E. So Khanrithykun emphasized that the progress of the settlement activity reflects cooperation among all stakeholders, including the LASED III team at the sub-national level, Stung Treng provincial authorities, local administrations, and the beneficiary communities. 
The ceremony took place at the social land concession site in Sre Kor commune, with attendance from representatives of the Ministry of Economy and Finance, the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, the Deputy Governor of Stung Treng, related provincial departments in Stung Treng, the World Bank, and local authorities.
