State land registration can stop illegal encroachment on state land such as nature conservation areas, agricultural forest cover, lakes, streams, etc., and can use natural resources sustainably and protect biodiversity. Our task is to prepare land use plans in accordance with resources, which will transform those areas into economic development corridors to attract investment, create jobs and improve the livelihoods of citizens. This was stated by HE Deputy Prime Minister Say Samal, Minister of the Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction, in a meeting with Ms. Suwanna Gauntlett, Executive Director of the Wildlife Alliance in the Kingdom of Cambodia, on Tuesday morning, September 12, 2023, at the Ministry’s office.
