HE Deputy Prime Minister Say Samal, Minister of the Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction, said that understanding the difficulties of the private sector is very important in putting in place appropriate measures.
“Understanding the requests and difficulties of the private sector is very important in putting in place appropriate measures to help support this sector.” This was stated by HE Deputy Prime Minister Say Samal, Minister of the Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction, at the 19th meeting of the private sector to discuss requests and find joint solutions between the Royal Government and the private sector on October 16, 2023.
HE Deputy Prime Minister also said:
“Establishing a partnership mechanism between the private sector and the Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction to consult and review and resolve joint work on the real estate industry is necessary that we must review as soon as possible. All challenges and requests raised by the private sector will be accepted and reviewed and resolved.”
However, the purpose of this meeting is to review, discuss, debate and resolve challenges related to the construction and real estate sectors in Cambodia raised by the private sector in preparation for the 19th Royal Government-Private Sector Forum scheduled to be held in November.
It is worth noting that the meeting between the government and the private sector was attended by relevant officials from the Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction, representatives of the Housing Developers Association, representatives of the Cambodian Builders Association, representatives of the Cambodian Microfinance Association and many other stakeholders.
