His Excellency Deputy Prime Minister Say Samal said that the 7th term of the Royal Government is a mandate to continue to maintain the legacy of peace from previous governments, which is the root of the Khmer nation. His Excellency added that what we must do for the future is to make the root of the nation even stronger.

His Excellency Deputy Prime Minister Say Samal, Minister of the Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction, made this statement at the ceremony to hand over equipment to support and promote land registration work to the Department of Land Management, Urban Planning, Construction and Cadastre of Kampong Cham Province on the morning of October 19, 2023, with the participation of His Excellency Un Chanda, Governor of Kampong Cham Provincial Government and His Excellency Khlot Phon, Chairman of the Provincial Council, leaders of departments and organizations around the province, city, district, commune, and sangkat authorities, and several other relevant officials.

His Excellency Deputy Prime Minister further emphasized that Cambodia is a land of happiness, so we must prepare land for the people to live happily and prosper through land registration and providing legal title deeds with confidence and efficiency.

His Excellency the Deputy Prime Minister encouraged and accelerated the registration of land for citizens quickly because land registration is a legal security of rights and land value for citizens.

According to the report of the Department of Land Management, Urban Planning, Construction and Cadastre of Kampong Cham Province, as of September 2023, the results of the implementation of land registration work have been achieved, data has been collected for 758,328 land parcels, 738,798 land parcels have been published, 19,530 land parcels have been published, 734,064 land parcels have been issued, and 732,494 land parcels have been distributed to citizens.

It should be noted that equipment to support and accelerate land registration work, such as 28 sets of DGPS machines, 30 motorbikes, 14 printers, 14 laptops, 14 computers and equipment, and 1 CANON Plotter, have been delivered to the Department of Land Management, Urban Planning, Construction and Cadastre of Kampong Cham Province.
