His Excellency Lor Davut, Secretary of State, His Excellency Kith Chankrishna, Under-Secretary of State, and Mr. Chin Chhorum, Deputy Director of the Department of Geography of the Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction, were invited to attend the signing ceremony of the grant for the project “Establish of Nationwide Continuously Operating Reference Station Network” under the chairmanship of His Excellency Sok Chendasophea, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and His Excellency UENO Atsushi, Ambassador of Japan to the Kingdom of Cambodia.

The participation of the Japanese government has significantly contributed to the implementation of the Cambodian government’s policies related to the land sector, which not only helps in land registration, but can also be used in land management, urban planning, and public works.

The Japanese government's grant is worth 1.338 billion yen (approximately 9.7 million US dollars) to implement a project to build a network of permanent satellite measurement stations nationwide, aiming to accelerate land surveying and measurement, as well as strengthen administrative services related to land registration.
