Ministry of Land Management Holds Training Course on Legal Principles and Procedures Related to Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction

On the morning of November 11, 2023, the Legal Working Group of the Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction organized a training course on legal principles and procedures related to land management, urban planning and construction for 303 lawyers, students, assistants and interns.

His Excellency Deputy Prime Minister Say Samal, Minister of the Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction, thanked and appreciated all the participants who were willing to volunteer their time to help the work of the ministry and to participate in the training course on legal principles and procedures related to the ministry’s fields of expertise.

Meanwhile, HE Deputy Prime Minister Say Samal spoke about the fundamental principles of democracy and the first phase of the Pentagon Strategy of the Royal Government, led by His Excellency President Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, by setting out six priority points, including public service reform that focuses on strengthening human quality, institutional quality, and continuing training.

HE Deputy Prime Minister considered the organization of this training course to be timely and responsive to the policies of the Royal Government in this mandate.

Through this training course on legal principles and procedures related to the field of land management, urban planning and construction, participants will gain knowledge and experience related to several topics such as land law, real estate registration, land management and urban planning work, land use map preparation and monitoring and evaluation of land use plan work, general principles and perspectives of land management and urban planning, detailed procedures for developing master plans and land use plans for cities, districts, and khans, construction laws, legal documents in the construction sector, construction inspection and certification licenses and construction use certificates, construction permits, management of dangerous constructions, and resolution of land disputes, etc.
