His Excellency Deputy Prime Minister Say Samal has instructed the Cambodian Police Academy to pay attention to training officers who will serve in sub-national administrations to enhance work efficiency.

His Excellency the Deputy Prime Minister made this statement on the occasion of allowing the President of the Cambodian Police Academy, General Professor Ek Monosen, and his delegation to pay a courtesy call.

On behalf of the Cambodian Police Academy, General Professor Ek Monosen would like to congratulate His Excellency Deputy Prime Minister Say Samal on receiving the trust of the Royal Government to assume his new duties as Minister of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction for the new term.

The General Professor said that in the past, the Cambodian Police Academy received great support from His Excellency the Deputy Prime Minister when He was Minister of the Ministry of Environment and participated in a lecture to share knowledge and experience with police students of the Cambodian Police Academy.

General Professor Ek Monosen stated that the courtesy meeting was held to thank His Excellency the Deputy Prime Minister for his generous support for the Cambodian Police Academy as well as other organizations and to request further support from His Excellency the Deputy Prime Minister.

In response, His Excellency Deputy Prime Minister Say Samal expressed his high commitment to continuing the tradition and culture of mutual assistance between the Cambodian Police Academy and the Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction, and His Excellency will also review the extent to which he will assist the National Police, Army, Military Police and Royal Administrative School.

At the same time, His Excellency Deputy Prime Minister Say Samal encouraged the Cambodian Police Academy to pay attention to training officers who will serve in sub-national administrations so that officers understand the regulations in relevant fields of expertise, aiming to enhance work efficiency and respond to the public service reform policy put forward by Samdech Thimphu Prime Minister Hun Manet.
