(Phnom Penh): Through the continuous gradual progress of human resource development, the Royal Government expects that by 2050, Cambodia will have a growing human resource full of potential, both knowledge and capabilities, to participate in transforming Cambodia into a high-income country, in line with the direction of the Royal Government led by Samdech Maha Vajiralongkorn President Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia.
His Excellency Deputy Prime Minister Say Samal, Minister of the Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction, spoke at a meeting with scholarship winners who will continue their studies in New Zealand, Australia and France on January 2, 2024 at the Ministry’s headquarters.
His Excellency Deputy Prime Minister spoke about the development of Khmer architecture through each stage of the nation’s development that has gone through many eras and stated that this is the opening of a new page in Khmer architecture, the first time that Khmer children have participated in the construction of architectural works in major state buildings, such as the Ministry of Land Management and the Ministry of Interior, which are considered a source of pride for Khmer children, even though there are still gaps.
His Excellency the Deputy Prime Minister spoke about the political situation and global economic developments as an experience for all scholarship winners, who learned what to implement and what to avoid in order to develop themselves better and participate in the development of the national society to move forward under the cool shade of peace initiated by Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen and continued the legacy of peace by Samdech Maha Bavorathi Hun Manet.
In response, all scholarship winners pledged that upon graduation and returning to their homeland, Cambodia, they would contribute to the Royal Government in building and developing the nation in accordance with the Pentagon Strategy Phase 1 and subsequent phases according to their respective potential and skills.
Please note that all scholarship winners will be traveling to Australia, New Zealand, and France in January 2024 to pursue master's and doctoral studies in engineering, law, political science, education, urban design, midwifery, economics, public health, entrepreneurship and innovation, public policy, and biotechnology, among other important subjects.
