(Kep Province): The Royal Government considers Kep, Sihanoukville, Kampot and Koh Kong provinces to be major economic corridors for Cambodia, so provincial authorities and citizens must work together to develop themselves and have creative ideas in inventing new and unique things to attract tourists to visit their provinces in order to boost the economic flow in the province as well as to generate income to support family livelihoods better.
His Excellency Deputy Prime Minister Say Samal, Minister of the Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction and Chairman of the Royal Government Working Group in Kep Province, spoke at the closing ceremony of the 2023 annual work results and 2024 work direction of the Kep Provincial Administration on the afternoon of January 5, 2024.
His Excellency the Deputy Prime Minister urged and encouraged all authorities, working groups, specialized institutions and citizens to work together to preserve natural resources in Kep province such as seafood, and make full use of the resources available in the province. They must also review the price of accommodation and food prices appropriately, maintain security, safety, public order and good public order, and prepare cities and resorts to beautify themselves in order to attract more tourists to Kep province and turn the province into a popular tourist destination.
At the same time, His Excellency the Deputy Prime Minister emphasized the strategic direction of the Royal Government of Cambodia in eliminating land conflicts across the country, ensuring that citizens do not have to worry and turn to work hard in various occupations or businesses to obtain income to support their families. His Excellency also recommended that the city be well organized by building roads for citizens to walk and exercise for health.
These strategies are aimed at ensuring that citizens are healthy, smiling, have decent housing, have enough food to eat, have jobs, and have income to support their families and children to study and continue their higher education, as well as have a good future for everyone. Therefore, we must all agree and cooperate in carrying out the roles and responsibilities assigned by the Royal Government in order to successfully achieve this goal for the benefit of the nation and the people.
