(Svay Rieng): The Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction and the Svay Rieng Provincial Administration have agreed to use all their strength to accelerate the land registration work effectively and successfully as planned, aiming to benefit the people and ensure the security of legal land ownership.

Speaking at a meeting to promote and support the land registration work in Svay Rieng Province on January 16, 2024, HE Deputy Prime Minister Say Samal stated that Samdech Prime Minister Hun Sen has put forward a land registration policy as a priority to provide security in legal land ownership and improve the living standards of the people.

Land registration is a core work that requires the Ministry of Land Management to lead the political, financial and technical work, while the operators are the provincial administration and the people in the province, who must cooperate in checking the land boundaries while the working group is surveying the land so that the land registration process can proceed smoothly.

To promote land registration work, HE Say Samal presented 2 desktop computers, 14 laptops, 17 printers and 20 scanners to the Department of Land Management, Urban Planning, Construction and Cadastre of Svay Rieng Province.

Land registration work to continue to provide title deeds to people quickly as a basis for economic resources and security of land tenure is the fifth priority of the 15-point policy priorities set by the Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction, based on the priorities of the Pentagon Strategy in the Fourth Pentagon, Fourth Angle.
