(Phnom Penh): His Excellency Deputy Prime Minister Say Samal stated that the ministry will prepare cities in an urbanized manner, meaning that all cities will become developed cities. Regarding the land registration work, His Excellency the Deputy Prime Minister said that the land registration has been coordinated by the Ministry of Economy and Finance with a budget of $18 per card. Therefore, His Excellency hopes that the Asian Development Bank (ADB) will be able to consider contributing to the completion of land registration work throughout the country, because land registration is very important in ending land disputes as well as developing the economy in Cambodia.

This was stated by His Excellency the Deputy Prime Minister during a working meeting with representatives of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) at the ministry's office on the morning of January 29, 2024.

In response, the ADB representative said that ADB is focusing on two projects: first, the request made by the Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction regarding technical assistance in preparing a plan for economic poles in the Kingdom of Cambodia, what further measures should be taken to promote the project's progress, and second, regarding ADB's participation in the coastal development plan. In this regard, the ADB representative requested the Ministry to provide additional support to ADB in this regard.
