(Phnom Penh): His Excellency Deputy Prime Minister Say Samal, Minister of the Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction, emphasized the leadership policy with an emphasis on building a modern, strong administrative structure with professional human capital to serve the national interest.

His Excellency the Deputy Prime Minister spoke at the final of the Cambodian Young Architects Award 2023 program under the theme “Future Dream City” in Arikat City on the afternoon of February 2, 2024.

His Excellency congratulated all young Cambodian architects who participated in the Cambodian Young Architects Award 2023 program and suggested continuing to organize the program by expanding the program’s themes further.

Building brainpower, especially in the field of architecture, is a task of great value and an investment for the future of all.

His Excellency Say Samal wants to see all Cambodians happy, with food on the table, healthy, and able to send their children to school, which contributes to building a stronger human capital in Cambodia, which is a prerequisite for ensuring the sustainability of peace and prosperity of the nation and the Cambodian people.

His Excellency added that currently, we are observing the development of Khmer architecture, including state buildings such as the Peace Palace, the Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction, the Ministry of Interior, and the General Command of the Army, all of which have Khmer architectural styles. This is a source of pride for all of us who have walked on the right path. In the future, Cambodia will have beautiful, comfortable buildings that serve the economic, social, and cultural interests of Cambodia.
