(Phnom Penh): The leadership of the Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction considers the National Council for Construction Technical Regulations and the National Construction Laboratory as important drivers in strengthening the construction sector in Cambodia in an efficient and sustainable manner.

Speaking at a meeting with the leadership of the National Council for Construction Technical Regulations and the National Construction Laboratory on the afternoon of February 15, 2024 at the Ministry’s office, HE Say Samal continued to urge all parties to adhere to the principles of consensus, gather ideas, and build a modern, vibrant, agile, conscientious, and professional public administration and institution to serve the interests of the nation and the people.

At the same time, HE highlighted the continued promotion of the development of policies for construction technical standards and construction technical regulations in line with Cambodia’s socio-economic developments and the strengthening of the implementation of the Construction Law with the aim of improving quality, safety, protecting property, and the well-being of construction owners, construction users, and the public.

His Excellency Say Samal said that Cambodia is a country that was once divided by war, and that it is not easy to rebuild and restore it to its current state of prosperity. Therefore, we should all agree to promote a smooth and fruitful work process.
