(Phnom Penh): The Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction organized a ceremony to celebrate the 113th anniversary of International Women's Day, March 8, 2024, under the theme "Women and Girls in the Digital Environment" on the afternoon of March 6, 2024, with the participation of many female leaders and civil servants under the ministry.

His Excellency Tekret Samchar, Permanent Secretary of State, representing His Excellency Deputy Prime Minister Say Samal, considered today a happy gathering time for the leaders and female civil servants under the ministry who have made efforts to dedicate their time and energy to fulfilling their roles and responsibilities in their families and for institutions and the national society.

His Excellency stated that the theme "Women and Girls in the Digital Environment" this year is an important and appropriate theme in line with the development of the national society and in line with the strategic plan of the 7th term of the Royal Government led by His Excellency President Hun Sen, Prime Minister.

His Excellency Tekret Samach thanked the women from the private sector and various organizations who participated in this occasion and wished all female leaders and civil servants good health to continue to fulfill their roles and responsibilities in each field of expertise and encouraged them to continue to strengthen their capabilities in line with the digital environment to contribute to the better development of the national society.

Finally, His Excellency presented bouquets of flowers and souvenirs as encouragement to female leaders, outstanding women, and active women.
