(Phnom Penh): The leadership of the Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction is committed to working together with the Cambodian Housing Developers Association to address challenges in the direction of protecting political and economic security for the nation.

Speaking at the 2023 work summary and 2024 work direction conference of the Cambodian Housing Developers Association on the afternoon of April 2, 2024, HE Say Samal congratulated and appreciated the efforts of the Cambodian Housing Developers Association in responding to the policy of the Royal Government of Cambodia, which wants to see all Cambodians have decent housing, a good environment, and well-being, safety, and dignity.

HE considered the concerns of the Housing Developers Association as the concerns of the Ministry. In response, the Ministry has implemented many works to maintain the sustainability of the real estate industry in Cambodia, including housing and the construction industry, which are large and important sectors in promoting Cambodian economic growth.

At the same time, the Ministry also encouraged relevant leaders and officials to make efforts to modernize public administration to strengthen the efficiency of work in each specialized field in line with Cambodia's socio-economic development.

His Excellency requested the Cambodian Housing Developers Association to provide input on the draft Land Law (New) which sets out the principles, rules and procedures for land and real estate management, which are fundamental to contributing to effective, sustainable and environmentally friendly economic and social development.
