(Phnom Penh): The leadership of the Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction received a courtesy call and discussed work with His Excellency Santo Darmosumarto, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Indonesia to Cambodia, at the Ministry's office on the afternoon of April 4, 2024.
His Excellency the Ambassador expressed his determination to strengthen the friendship between Cambodia and Indonesia, especially to cooperate with the Ministry in the field of land management and urban planning to contribute to the development of Cambodia for greater progress.
His Excellency the Ambassador said that some Indonesian investors are interested in investing in Cambodia, especially in the construction sector, and requested the Ministry of Land Management to study the possibility of cooperation with the Indonesian Ministry of Land.
In response, His Excellency Say Samal, Minister of Land Management, stated that for Cambodia, Indonesia is a close partner and has long-standing friendly relations in Asia, so His Excellency will continue to promote this relationship even closer.
His Excellency believes that the Cambodian Ministry of Land Management and the Indonesian Ministry of Land will have many things that can be done together as good partners, especially organizing training courses.
