Local authorities at all levels play an important role in achieving the goal of complete land registration in Cambodia.

In this 7th mandate of the Royal Government, the Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction has put forward three key priority policies: complete land registration, a dispute-free environment, and satisfactory services. In order to achieve the goal of complete land registration in Cambodia and to achieve other priority policies, it is necessary to involve all relevant parties, especially local authorities and specialized departments, to benefit our people.

In addition, modern administration is also necessary to be developed, focusing on building the capacity of officials, strengthening institutional capacity, and encouraging mechanisms for specialized officials to promote internal unity.

This was said by His Excellency Deputy Prime Minister Say Samal, speaking at a meeting to discuss promoting land registration with the participation of local authorities and officials of the Department of Land Management, Urban Planning, Construction and Cadastre of Banteay Meanchey Province on Sunday afternoon, April 21, 2024.
