(Prey Veng)÷ The leadership of the Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction considers the land management, urban planning and construction sectors as an important part of the unified administration of the capital, provinces, cities, districts and khans, according to the words of HE Deputy Prime Minister Say Sam Al, speaking at a meeting to discuss and promote land registration work in the geography of Prey Veng province on the afternoon of April 24, 2024.
HE the Minister said that land management and land registration work must have the agreement and cooperation of all relevant parties and the support of officials as implementers and the participation and support of citizens so that the work can proceed smoothly and effectively. Land registration is to create an environment free from land disputes in Cambodia and strengthen the security of legal land tenure, promoting the use of land to its full potential.
HE the Deputy Prime Minister also instructed the Prey Veng provincial administration to consider preparing a master plan and organizing cities in accordance with the province's potential to provide well-being in life for citizens. With this, HE Say Samal mentioned the satisfactory services of the Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction, which operate through a digital system, providing convenience for citizens to use and receive services anytime and anywhere.
On that occasion, HE the Minister also handed over equipment to the Department of Land Management, Urban Planning, Construction and Cadastre of Prey Veng Province to promote land registration work, including 15 measuring machines provided using funds from the LASED III project, 20 desktop computers, 2 laptops, 6 A4 printers, 5 A3 printers, 11 scanners, 6 external HDDs and 2 QR Code scanners.
