With this, the local authorities of villages and communes must prepare a map to clearly demarcate the boundaries of each area, while the Social Land Concession Committee must further improve its functions, roles and responsibilities, and the working group must consider both technical, political and financial aspects to accelerate the completion of land registration work in the near future, aiming to end disputes.
It is also worth noting that the Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction has put in place a number of key strategies to achieve the goal of completing land registration according to the plan set out in the 7th legislature, aiming to create an environment free from land disputes in Cambodia, strengthen the security of legal land tenure, and promote the full use of land to improve the living standards of the people and develop the economy better.
