(Phnom Penh): The leadership of the Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction said that the meeting was held with the aim of paving the way forward for the Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction, and what the ministry has implemented so far is the pride of all the leaders and civil servants under the ministry, but going forward, there are still many difficult and complex tasks that need to be implemented together. In this sense, we need to find a common approach to improve the implementation of the work towards the direction set by the ministry and in accordance with the instructions of the Royal Government of Cambodia, as we will have to open a new page in the field of architecture, construction engineering and urban planning.

His Excellency Deputy Prime Minister Say Samal said this at a meeting to define the tasks and work directions of the General Department of Construction, the National Construction Laboratory and the National Council for Construction Technical Regulations at the ministry’s office on the morning of May 13, 2024.

His Excellency the Deputy Prime Minister wants the construction sector in Cambodia to be full of life and want the city to be full of culture, civilization, customs and traditions. His Excellency the Deputy Prime Minister advised to consider the real estate industry and the construction materials industry, which will have a lot of demand in the future.

On this occasion, His Excellency urged the General Department of Construction, the National Construction Laboratory, and the National Council for Construction Technical Regulations to be prepared to prepare various regulations related to construction and to be prepared to carry out more work in the future in accordance with their respective roles and responsibilities and in accordance with the plan set by the Ministry to promote the construction sector in Cambodia to become more prosperous.
