(Phnom Penh): On the afternoon of June 12, 2024, at the Ministry's office, HE Deputy Prime Minister Say Samal, Minister of the Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction, led a meeting on the application for social land concessions for housing construction and family farming of representatives of citizens in Stung Treng and Kampot provinces and a meeting on the LASED III project.

Regarding social land concessions, HE said in the meeting that the Royal Government of Cambodia has prepared to provide social land concessions with the aim of helping citizens reduce poverty. Therefore, HE instructed the working group to carefully examine the application for social land concessions for housing construction and family farming in Stung Treng and Kampot provinces to avoid the problem of some unscrupulous people taking advantage of the opportunity to apply for social land concessions and to inform the citizens about this problem. He must examine areas with potential for organizing social land concessions and organize social land concessions close to towns by gathering people to live in towns to promote economic growth.

With this, HE stated that civil servants must know themselves, know the region and the world, and know how to formulate public policies, meaning they must know how to make politics that is in line with the wishes or desires of the people and in accordance with the actual situation, manage modern public administration and public finances, and use budgets according to programs or funds to serve the core work of the ministry.

On that occasion, HE said that Samdech Maha Vajiralongkorn, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, has the goal of organizing the country better so that the people can live easily and proudly, and civil servants are the key players in promoting this work.
