(Phnom Penh): Speaking at a meeting with scholarship winners to study in China, Japan, Singapore, Germany and the Czech Republic in 2024 at the Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction on the afternoon of July 22, 2024, HE Deputy Prime Minister Say Samal, Minister of the Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction, said that on behalf of the Royal Government and on behalf of the Union of Youth Federations of Cambodia, HE highly appreciates and values all scholarship winners who have the courage to leave their home countries and continue to seek more knowledge and skills abroad.
On that occasion, HE Deputy Prime Minister added that these demonstrate the maturity and independence of the scholarship winners and advised all students to take this opportunity to continue working hard to further develop their capabilities to participate in the development of the country in the future.
With this, His Excellency the Deputy Prime Minister urged all young people to join in building a contemporary Cambodia together, an era in which Cambodian society has civilization, culture, traditions, and self-confidence, and to take this opportunity to learn from others, learn about the world's political system, and take advantage of it to build themselves and their families, and develop our homeland, Cambodia, for greater progress.
Please note that the total number of scholarship winners who will study abroad in 2024 is 88, including 30 students who will study in the People's Republic of China, 15 in the Czech Republic, 25 in the JDS program in Japan, 9 in France, 2 in the Federal Republic of Germany, 1 in Seoul University of the Republic of Korea, 1 in the Kingdom of Thailand, and 5 in the Li Kuan Yu School scholarship through the Union of Cambodian Youth Federations in Phnom Penh.
