His Excellency Yoss Chhomnaradi, Secretary of State and Chairman of the Working Group on the Preparation of Infrastructure for Drainage and Water Relief Systems for Flood Prevention in the Capital and Provincial Towns, chaired the meeting (for the second time) on reviewing the results of the preliminary study for the project to prepare stormwater and sewage networks in Khan 7 Makara, Khan Daun Penh and Khan Chamkar Mon, as well as the improvement of the Pong Paya canal and the preparation of a wastewater treatment plant in Phnom Penh, and the study of the wastewater network and the preparation of a wastewater treatment plant, including the preparation of a wastewater management master plan in Sihanoukville, Preah Sihanouk Province.

The meeting had a lively discussion, with stakeholders providing data, key inputs and recommendations for the working group to continue implementing the preliminary study work of the project.
