(Phnom Penh): The leadership of the Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction has considered the development of agro-industrial parks as a gold mine for Cambodians that can create jobs and income for the people and improve the national economy.
Speaking at a meeting to review and provide suggestions on the support framework for the development of agro-industrial parks in Cambodia, which was held at the Ministry’s headquarters on the morning of August 16, 2024.
His Excellency Deputy Prime Minister Say Samal stated that the development of agro-industrial parks in Cambodia can only proceed if the Cambodian people have sufficient resources and capabilities, are smart, agile, hardworking, and have a market for export.
On that occasion, His Excellency asked the members of the meeting to consider and provide comments to collect good inputs in the support framework for the development of agro-industrial parks in Cambodia, which will be prepared to establish these agro-industrial parks in provinces, capitals or any location with great potential.
