The special feature of land management and urban planning in Battambang province is the intersection of French-era Khmer architecture and contemporary Khmer architecture.
Speaking at a meeting to promote land registration work in Battambang province, HE Deputy Prime Minister Say Samal urged attention to organizing cities to be more beautiful and to prepare towns to have clean water, roads, and electricity to reach every village, and to consider organizing villages that are peaceful and bring happiness to the people.
