(Phnom Penh): The leadership of the Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction appreciates the efforts and the investment of resources and time in organizing the largest international construction, building, engineering and water industry exhibition in Cambodia.

Speaking at the official opening of the largest international construction, building, engineering and water industry exhibition in Cambodia, which was held at the Koh Pich Convention and Exhibition Center, Phnom Penh on the morning of September 11, 2024.

His Excellency Deputy Prime Minister Say Samal considered clean water to be a major priority of the Royal Government to provide to the Cambodian people. His Excellency Deputy Prime Minister laid out a common vision for all to walk together on the path to provide great benefits to the people and the nation, hoping that we can organize an organized industry, create an environment where people and institutions can create a culture of research and create new products. His Excellency hopes that starting from today and at this exhibition location, we can see financial innovations to help support this industry and innovate new ideas related to this industry.

With this, His Excellency raised some issues in the national society, including land registration, which so far has measured and registered approximately 2.3 million additional land parcels, and more than 1 million land parcels will be completed nationwide, which is probably the first time in Cambodia’s history that all land parcels have been measured and registered nationwide in the 7th mandate. In particular, for the remaining unregistered land parcels, the Preah Vihear provincial administration is committed to completing the land registration before 2029, which is the 40th anniversary of the issuance of land ownership certificates to citizens in Cambodia.

His Excellency stated that in the future, such exhibitions will be organized on a larger scale under the full support of the Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction, which will provide more opportunities for the construction, building, and engineering sectors in Cambodia. In particular, this gathering is a great opportunity to discuss and find ways to make the work we are all doing more efficient, make the water industry more organized, and obtain more profits, increasing productivity for the people.
