(Phnom Penh): In a consultation meeting on the coastal education and work fair held at the Ministry of Land, Urban Planning and Construction on the morning of November 2, 2024, HE Deputy Prime Minister Say Samal considered this work as an important work that will transform Cambodia into a better place. The coastal area is the economic corridor of Cambodia, in which the Ministry of Land, Urban Planning and Construction has put forward both a plan and a vision for the coastal area to promote economic growth and attract tourists.

HE Deputy Prime Minister wishes for people living in coastal areas to become people with a better life, jobs, income, people with civilization, culture, traditions, good hospitality relations, and access to education for all. The meeting is held to solicit opinions and consensus on how to promote the coastal education and work fair to be held well and how to advise people in coastal areas to know themselves, their potential, and how to use those potentials well to benefit themselves and improve their families' lives.

His Excellency stated that the coastal study and job fair will be held with the aim of introducing subject choices to students who wish to continue their studies in a field that suits their aptitude and the job market in coastal areas, such as agriculture, tourism, and hospitality, and helping to orient more students in those subjects. This task requires the Union of Youth Federations of Cambodia to participate directly and with support from local authorities and working groups.
