The Department of Land Management, Urban Planning, Construction and Cadastre, Phnom Penh has been responding to the policy of the Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction in ending social disputes through land registration, creating a dispute-free environment and satisfactory services.

It is worth noting that in addition to land registration in Phnom Penh, from November 1, 2023 to the present, the Department of Land Management, Urban Planning, Construction and Cadastre, Phnom Penh has participated in land registration in Kampong Speu Province and has achieved the measurement and data entry of 270,000 land plots, the publication of 260,000 land plots, the issuance of 220,000 land certificates, and the distribution of 143,000 land certificates to citizens.

In particular, the Department of Land Management, Urban Planning, Construction and Cadastre, Phnom Penh has participated in the online registration of some essential services such as land sales, land gifts, mortgages, pledges, and the cancellation of encumbrances. At the same time, the department has also been working to build a real estate valuation map within the capital region as well as nationwide to resolve complex issues in the management of stamp duty, real estate tax, and end the inactivity on real estate loans related to real estate valuation.
