Regarding the construction sector, His Excellency Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, requested the Ministry to continue to closely monitor the implementation of laws and regulations in this sector effectively as a basis for strengthening the quality of construction and construction by adhering to contemporary styles, ensuring the construction of a future city with a style that is desirable to live in, and promoting contemporary Cambodian architecture, as well as strengthening the conservation of heritage buildings, developing sustainable construction with high innovation.
At the same time, the Ministry must also consider cooperating more widely with all national and international actors related to the construction sector, moving towards implementing the low-carbon construction principle (Green Building Concept) in the future.
His Excellency supported and encouraged the Ministry to continue to consider the quality, safety, and aesthetics of construction, which reflects the quality of the new Cambodian people, by continuing to address and promote other tasks, such as promoting investment in the restoration of construction projects in Sihanoukville, inspecting the progress of construction work in various areas, especially border construction and construction in the currently growing towns.
