(Phnom Penh): Speaking at the meeting of the working life of the leaders of the Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction held at the Ministry's headquarters on the afternoon of March 19, 2025, HE Deputy Prime Minister Say Samal stated that the leaders and civil servants under the ministry have passed their first battle, which is to organize their homes in an orderly manner by ensuring the continuity of the work and operations of the institution, maintaining the spirit and consciousness of the people, maintaining internal unity and unity, building faith and confidence in the overall leadership of the ministry, and in this first battle, we have achieved good and acceptable results.
Regarding the creation of a conflict-free environment for the national society, HE considered this to be a strategic task and also a necessary task that we must do before we move on to other tasks, including registering land and transforming what we have in our hands into a strong economic powerhouse in the future.
On that occasion, HE also urged the ministry's leaders to change their mindsets to consider the future of the country and jointly explore methods to build people's livelihoods better and develop the nation more prosperously.
With this, HE the Deputy Prime Minister has assigned new responsibilities to the leadership of the Ministry in the fields of administration and finance, land management and urban planning, construction, housing, and youth affairs of the Ministry to implement alliances with ministries, institutions, state units, development partners, and the private sector, and on the Land Allocation for Social Affairs and Economic Development Phase 3 (LASED III) project, as well as continue to narrow down the problems on the organization and operation of the Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning, and Construction.
