The Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction requests input from provinces around the Tonle Sap Lake and along the Mekong River and related ministries and institutions such as the Ministry of Tourism, the Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology, the Ministry of Public Works and Transport, the Ministry of Economy and Finance, and tourism associations in order to effectively implement the transformation of towns along the Mekong River and around the Tonle Sap Lake into peaceful villages, that is, to organize cities according to the economic vitality of each city.
