We would like to thank the Oddar Meanchey provincial administration, civil servants, forces around the province, local authorities and all citizens who participated in the campaign to complete the land registration process until they received the certificate of ownership of real estate today. The purpose of completing the land registration process is to ensure legal security in real estate ownership, create and enhance a dispute-free environment, provide satisfactory services to the people and also contribute to increasing national budget revenue.
His Excellency Deputy Prime Minister Say Samal said that the next task is for local authorities and relevant departments to consider organizing cities and checking names and geographical codes so that the ministry can reorganize addresses and boundaries of villages, communes and provinces across the country. At the same time, His Excellency also advised all of you to take care of and use the certificates you have received now properly, which are assets that will make you progress in life and leave as a legacy for future generations.
On this special occasion, His Excellency Dr. Kun Kim, Senior Minister in Charge of Special Missions and Chairman of the Royal Government Working Group in Oddar Meanchey Province, presented 9,803 property ownership certificates to residents of three districts of Oddar Meanchey Province, including Samrong City, Anlong Veng District, and Chong Kal District.
