Publicity meeting on “Determining the conditions of land use and management of urban planning and construction in the Angkor World Heritage Site”.

This is another new step by the Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction, the Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts, the Royal Government Working Group in Siem Reap, the Apsara National Authority and the Siem Reap Administration in seeking consensus in terms of common spirit and principles on determining the conditions of land use and management of urban planning and construction in the Angkor World Heritage Site by reviewing the working methods, legal regulations and the lifestyle of citizens in the heritage protection area to create greater understanding between citizens and relevant authorities, in line with heritage affairs and with the international community, in the spirit of protecting and preserving ancestral heritage and improving the livelihood of Angkor residents, in line with the words of the King on organizing a well-organized housing and strengthening the national economy.
