The Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction has continued to hold consultations with the Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts, the Apsara National Authority, and relevant authorities with the aim of preparing principles and plans for managing the Angkor World Heritage Site to strengthen the conservation of the temples, improve the livelihoods of Angkor residents, who are living heritage sites, and ensure the maintenance of water, forest, and wildlife features in the Angkor region.
